Gibberagong in Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park

"That's a weird name," says the Conlin daughter.

Oh, you just have to go on a walk with a name like this, don't you? The highlights were rocks to scramble up and over - some wet, some dry - and the crabs in the mangroves.

Objects on rock are closer than they seem and a responsible adult is just out of the picture.
Most crabs scurried away into their holes when we walked by, but we got the hang of sneaking up to see them. Molly reminded Mike of his least favorite sport in elementary school gym class: crab soccer.
