Tea for Three

We're so sophisticated...A Christmas Tea at the Turner Dodge House. Daniel has been there before for a Civil War and Harry Potter Camp, but this was Molly and my first time. I'm happy to report that no Confederate Soldiers or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named were in attendance and unlimited hot chocolate was served!

A Concert of Light

No solos this year, but we have hope.

The Trees of 2010

Go big or Go Home!!
Nothing runs like a Deere.
TIMBER?
This is the tree the kids built. One artificial tree in a box and a pile of ornaments later and its Christmas in the boys room.
There is one other tree, not shown here. We had SO many Steeler ornaments (and one ND ornament) that we decided to do a sports themed tree. It never stood very straight this year, perhaps for obvious reasons, so it isn't part of our show.

Thanksgiving Feasting and Festivities

Straw glasses for everyone! Aunt Nancy was kind enough to add food coloring to the milk for the younger cousins! Patrick asked where they came from, which made us laugh - Grandma, of course.
Post-dinner gambling. Roll 'em Molly, Charlie needs a new pair of shoes!

There you can see the whole family engaged in "earning" a little extra cash. The gamble spoils were blown at Target the next day - good Black Friday deals!

"Are there 2 Santas?"

Meeting this guy prompted Molly to ask whether there are really 2 Santas. Charlie, who had just awoken from an unsanctioned nap (see previous post about nap cancellation) wanted nothing to do w/ this. Daniel will still humor his mom and stand for a photo.

Too Tired...

to climb the whole way up. The parental cancellation of naps has a consequence.
